Greetings brothers and sisters in Christ! I've been through some very rough times here fairly recently, but by the grace of God have made it through and come out the other side a survivor. God is so good! I would love to make some true and sincere friends and to talk about our lives, smiles, hardships, faith and just everyday happenings with each other. I have a 17 year-old daughter still at home and a 25 year-old daughter living in California. I work full-time as a Mortgage Counselor. The passion of my heart is the volunteer work I do for an organization that helps children living in extreme poverty. I am an Area Coordinator and also a Child Advocate. I sponsor 14 children in El Salvador, Bolivia, Haiti, India, Brazil, Kenya, Honduras, Indonesia, Thailand and Uganda. I recently traveled to El Salvador to meet the 2 little girls I sponsor there. It was also a mission trip and was a life-changing experience for me. I will definitely be going back! Some of my hobbies and interests include homemaking, cooking and baking, antique shops,flea markets, thrift stores, church and family activities, traveling and sightseeing, gardening, movies, writing poetry and children's stories, reading and many other things as well. I love animals and have a sweet little dog that seems to be convinced she's a human! There is so much more I could say, but will save it for personal correspondence.
